PGA Tour member Michael Bradley, who lives in the nearby Tampa Bay-area, made the short trek south to play in the West Florida Golf Tour event at the Founders Club in Sarasota on Monday.

Bradley teamed with his caddie, Noah Zelnik, for the WFGT's two-man Halloween Classic.

The duo didn't win, but it the WFGT's ability to draw a quality field is indicative of where players look to hone their game during the winter offseason.

Bradley is coming off a strong finish to his 2011 season, which includes a victory in Puerto Rico back in March.

The 45-year old veteran notched his fourth victory of his career, before closing 2011 with two top-20 finishes - most recently at Walt Disney in the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic to conclude the Fall Series.

Brittany Lincicome partnered with Ryan Gildersleeve, and Ty Tryon was also in the field.

Lincicome is No. 6 on the LPGA money list and has won twice this season on the LPGA Tour. She was a member of the 2011 Solheim Cup team and ranked No. 10 in the world.

Tryon burst onto the national golf scene as a 16-year-old phenom with a high finish at the Honda Classic. The former IMG Academies prodigy turned pro following his progression from Q-School.

But he faltered and has struggled to regain his youthful form. Despite this, Tryon played last season on the Nationwide Tour - one step below the PGA Tour - and the 2011 U.S. Open.
