James Doughtery and Alex Jones fired a first-round 64 at River Run Golf Links on Saturday to take a one-shot lead over the team of Phil Walters and Tim Judy as the final round of the City Two-Man Combo Championship concludes Sunday.
Walters won the tournament last year with Aaron Bishop after the pair shot 63-64 over the two days.
The tournament uses a scramble, better ball, shamble and alternate shot format in nine hole segments over the 36-hole event.
